 Step into the legacy of Glen Oaks-Cochran Vineyard, a 45-acre organic gem in Sonoma County where centuries of fearless women have crafted a wine story unlike any other! Born as "Glen Ellen" in the 1800s under the pioneering spirit of Ellen Stuart—one of the first women to own and operate a vineyard and winery—this historic estate produced thousands of cases of celebrated wines until the phylloxera epidemic of the 1880s. Fast forward to 2000, when visionary vintner Becky Jenkins, a titan in Sonoma’s grape-growing world, joined forces with Joan Cochran to resurrect this legendary land. Becky, a trailblazer as President of the Sonoma County Grape Growers Association, founder of Sonoma Adopt a Watershed, and Sonoma County’s Business Woman of the Year, has woven her passion into every vine, making Glen Oaks-Cochran a beacon of women’s strength and excellence in winemaking.
